At the moment of puncture, the needle interacts with the SSC structure which absorbs the needle’s impact and stabilizes the puncture process through elastic deformation and energy conversion.

The Glucoject Dual Extra is equipped with a cleaning feature to prevent the risk of bacterial growth. In this setting, the outer cap can be detached, allowing for straightforward cleaning of the inner cap.

1 for soft/thin skin, 3 for average skin, 5 for thick/calloused skin, and finer adjustments can be made by setting the arrow between numbers.

Intended Use
The disposable sterile blood lancet is used with the lancing device to collect capillary blood from fingertip or alternate sites for blood glucose testing or other testing utilizing small amounts of blood. Intended user: adults and children over 2 years old. The device is intended to be used by professionals and individuals.

Compatibility
Between disposable sterile blood lancet and lancing device: compatible with Glucoject Dual Extra and most other lancing devices.

Shelf life
5 years from sterilization date.
The lancet remains sterile until the protective cap is removed.

Further characteristics
Phthalates, latex, PVC, and benzol free.
Non-pyrogenic, non-toxic. 304 stainless-steel needle.

Intended Use
Use the lancing device with disposable sterile blood lancets to collect blood from peripheral parts of human body for blood tests.

Lancing Depth Guide
Glucoject Dual Extra has 9 penetration depths. Turn the Depth Dial to set the desired lancing depth: number 1 for soft/thin skin, number 3 for average skin, number 5 for thick/calloused skin, and finer adjustments can be made by setting the arrow between numbers.

Instructions for use

1.
Wash hands with soap
and clean, rinse and dry thoroughly.

Twist off the End Cap of the Lancing Device.
2.
Push the lancet firmly
into the holder.
3.
Remove the Lancet
Protective Cover: twist off
the protective cap.

Note: Save the Protective
Cover for safe disposal
of used lancets.
4.
Adjust to the suitable depth.
5.
Gently pull the Priming
Barrel until a click is heard.
6.
Place the End Cap firmly
against finger.

Press the Trigger Button.
7.
Remove the End Cap
and use the saved Lancet Protective Cover to recap
the lancet.
8.
Push the Ejector forward
to dispose of the used
lancet in the appropriate
container.
